Activity 1

Ailbhe the Otter Cocktail

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz vodka or gin (depending on preference)
1/2 oz blue curaçao
1 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Soda water or lemon-lime soda (for topping up)
Crushed ice
Lime wheel or twist, for garnish
Optional: a drop or two of saline solution or a pinch of sea salt (to give it a subtle oceanic touch)

Instructions:

Chill the Glass: Before starting, put your cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill.
Prepare the Drink: In a shaker filled with crushed ice, combine the vodka or gin, blue curaçao, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. (Add the saline solution or pinch of sea salt here if you're using it.)
Shake: Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
